Set amidst the most beautiful horse farms in upper Westchester is a special getaway. After a successful renovation of their Manhattan apartment, I was honored to continue work with my clients and design their country retreat.

The clients wanted a symbiotic relationship between the outdoors and the interiors. They loved the idea of bringing the bold colors in nature inside. Color, pattern, and texture were welcome participants throughout the home.

A colorful bucolic landscape scene adorns the dining room walls. Pairing the modern chairs with antique pendants delicately balances the client’s traditional and modern sensibilities.

The cheery colors are magnified in the sitting room. Ample natural light shines, and the newly livened space is perfect for entertaining guests.

The library’s original paneling is counterbalanced with comfortable, contemporary furnishings. A charred steel and linen coffee table grounds the room. Texture, pattern, and color bring warmth to this captivating country home.
